Dear Beloved Friends,
Thank you in advance for reading what is on my heart today.
I know I am not alone in having my share of life not going as planned over the last few years. Some of you have shared your journeys. I pray for continued strength and wisdom for you.
Over the years, I have had seasons when I felt I was walking close with the Ruach Ha Kodesh, The Holy Spirit, and My Beloved. But, then there has been the question of where was He?
A few months ago, I felt the reassurance that He was closer than I’ve been thinking. It began with the Lord reminding me that I was His Beloved.
Then, He brought back a memory of a t-shirt I had many years ago. My friend, Jamie Lash, her late husband Neill, and a team from Jewish Jewels made the shirt available. If you don’t know about Jewish Jewels, I encourage you to visit their website http://www.JewishJewels.org.
I don’t remember what happened to my t-shirt. And in my heart, I deeply desired to have another. So I contacted Jewish Jewels sharing that I wanted another of the beautiful shirts, and I was confident that others would.
To make a long story as short as possible, Jamie and the Jewish Jewels team have permitted me to use the unique Beloved design for my ministry needs as I return to Israel. I’ll again be cooking for the many groups at Biblical Tamar Park. I’ll be gone for six weeks, from October 1, until November 13. I will also return in February and March 2023 to cook for the spring groups.
In addition, I am one of the committee members of The Garden of the Ages at Biblical Tamar Park. It is exciting that we are one step closer to seeing the garden vision become real. I’ll be able to share more about this exciting desert garden project when I return. You can learn more about Biblical Tamar on their website http://www.BlossomingRose.org.
So, the reason for this note today is I am offering a pre-order of the t-shirts until August 20, 2022. The shirts will ship during the Jewish month of Elul. You see, Jewish tradition uniquely points to Elul. The Hebrew letters of Elul form an acronym found in Song of Songs 6:3 “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine” (Ani le Dodi ve Dodi li). Elul is also a time of introspection as we approach the High Holy Days of Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashanah) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).
The pre-order is to determine what sizes I need in the initial order from the printer. After the pre-order, it will be hit or miss with sizes available.
The t-shirt is screen-printed in three colors (red, green, and metallic gold). The shirt is white, the design is full-front, and the neckline is a women’s crew.
I love word studies! For years the word “Beloved” has been one that I continue to find hope and encouragement. It is part of the Lord’s heartbeat for His Bride.
There are many Hebrew words for Beloved. But perhaps my favorite is Strong’s word H1730
dode, dode דֹּד דּוֹד From an unused root meaning properly to boil, that is, (figuratively) to love; by implication a love token, lover, friend; specifically an uncle: – (well-) beloved, father’s brother, love, uncle.
Dode is found 39 times in the song of Songs. Beloved thirty times, well-beloved once, love and loves six times, and beloved’s twice.
Isn’t it comforting knowing that we are His Beloved and He is ours?
I’ve created a website for the Beloved t-shirt, personalized mugs, and other gifts for The Beloved of the Lord.
The website name (UntilTheDayBreak.com) reflects what I wrote about in my Precious Oils Study of the Fragrances of the Bible in 2008. The Chapter is Mountain of Myrrh, Hill of Frankincense. Yes, I have been waiting years to share the message “until the day break” that is found twice in the Song of Songs.
My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feeds among the lilies. Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether. Song of Songs 2:16 & 17
Until the day break and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of frankincense. Song of Songs 4:6
There are many perspectives on “daybreak.” Some think it is when the morning sun is coming up. Yet, in Hebrew thought, it is the opposite. It is sunset when the new Jewish day begins. The verse says, “when the day breathes, and the shadows vanish, I will get me to the mountain of Myrrh and Hill of Frankincense. Another thought is both sunrise with the start of the new day and sunset when the sun sets, and there are no more shadows.
If you don’t desire a t-shirt, you can give a tax-deductible gift designated to my work in Israel. Make check payable to Liberty Ministries, Inc. Memo Cynthia Hillson/Israel. Mail to: PO Box 2036 Cornelius, NC 28031
Thank you for supporting my upcoming journeys to Israel and my involvement with The Garden of the Ages at Biblical Tamar Park.
In His service,
Here is the T-shirt artwork. The silkscreen will be full front and will be on a white women’s scoop neck tee.
The colors are green, red, and metallic gold. Disregard the printer’s dialog and the beige background. With the pre-orders, we’re paying for the redraw of the artwork.
Pre-Orders end on Aug 20th, then it will be what is available. No Shipping from Sept 30 to Nov 14, 2022.
